This war horse has been decorated with poppies knitted by members of the church and their friends, over the past few months.
It is reported that over 16 million animals (horses, mules and dogs) were put into service during the Great War, and over half (8-9 million) were killed during the conflict, mainly due to the extreme conditions they worked in.
