Circuit Farewell Walk

Rev John invites people to walk with him on Monday 31st July, for a walk of 23.3 miles, with plenty of water stops at local churches, as he says farewell to the folk of Bishop Auckland and Shildon Circuit.

Please bring a packed lunch and it looks like waterproofs may also be needed.

If you would like to walk with Rev John on his last day in the Circuit, these are the approximate timings:

Hamsterley 7.30am (beginning with a mug of tea)

Cockfield 9.40am – 10am (Breakfast)

Etherley 11.40am – 12noon (coffee)

Witton Park 12.30pm – 12.45 (cake)

Woodhouse Close 1.40pm – 2pm (Lunch at just over ½ way)

Bishop Auckland 2.20pm – 2.30pm (water stop)

Dene Valley 3pm – 3.10pm (cake)

Shildon 3.50pm – 4.10pm (afternoon tea)

Heighington 5.40pm – 6pm (last bit of Kendal mint cake)

Newton Aycliffe 7.30pm (supper, and then home)

Vanessa will be able to provide more accurate timings on the day.
