Advent Reflection / Bible Study

Each Thursday of Advent there is an invitation to pause on the journey towards Christmas, to take a little time to reflect on the spiritual steps we make as we get ready for Christmas.

This year Rev Rachel is proposing we look at a series of stories written by Paula Gooder. These stories take some of the lesser known characters of the Bible and weave a narrative around them to provide a focus for thoughts and discussions.

All are welcome to come along, whether you want to join in the conversation, find a time to sit and listen or just make some space to seek God in the run up to Christmas.

There is another group running at Woodhouse Close Church on Thursday evenings at 7:00pm planned by Rev Kevin Watson. During the four weeks of advent there will be reflection about how the different Gospels present Jesus. Each session will be led by a different member of the Woodhouse Close worship team. All are welcome.
