Shildon Methodist Church is a very friendly, active church at the heart of the town of Shildon. There is a Crafty Chatty Cafe Tuesdays 1pm – 3pm and a regular Thursday coffee morning at 9.45am in the Community Hall..

Methodist meetings began in Shildon in the home of Timothy Hackworth in the 1820's. Our present church was opened in 1976 where we continue to serve the present age. There is a special weekend of activities planned to celebrate the 50th Anniversary and everyone is welcome to join in.
