Cockfield Methodist Church is a key church in its area offering a warm and friendly welcome to all who come through its doors.
Methodism has existed in Cockfield since the 1820s. William Clowes, cofounder of Primitive Methodism preached at Cockfield on 6th June 1820.
The present chapel was opened on 6th October 1888 and extended with the Sunday School building in March 1906.
It continues its ministry in the rural village it serves and its surroundings, working together with the other churches in the area to provide a Christian presence for all those who seek it.
